Capanicus callback solution includes multiple callback methods like Web callback, DID callback, SMS callback, CLI/ANI callback. Service providers can deploy a callback management solution and enable their clients to initiate long distance calls using this methods and thus offering their client a very cheap rate voip calling solution.
 
Web Callback
A Web-Call Back module allows users to make long-distance calls from inside the web-site. The webpage is configured to interact with the web callback module using web service. Once server receives a callback request from the website, it initiates a call to the user's phone and to the destination number specified by the user. When the user answers, the callback server automatically dials the destination number and connects both call legs.
 
How it works:
  • User enters destination number and the number where he want to receive callback.
  • After receiving request from website for callback, system connects user number
  • When user picks up the phone, system calls destination number and connect both legs
 
 
CLI/ANI Callback
VoIP Businesses invoke initiate low-cost international & national phone calls by using ANI/CLI CallBack Solution. The ANI/CLI CallBack Solution is ideal for business travellers or you are not able to reachable Internet or VoIP network is accessible in you location.
 
How it works:
  • The user calls an access number and hang up call. The script disconnects the call without picking up the phone, so that the user is not charged for the call
  • The user is authenticated by his/her caller id that is stored inside system.
  • ANI API calls back, giving the user a dial tone with IVR message, retrieving the dialed number and establishing a VoIP call with the destination party.
 
 
DID Callback
DID callback solution works on the similar principle to ANI callback solution. The only difference is the authorization process. In the case of ANI callback solution it is based on the defined ANI/CLI number which has to be called in order to initiate the callback. In case of DID callback, each user should have an unique access number (DID) so that when they dialed this number it automatically disconnect then and call them back. This service is mostly designed for the users who reach the access number from the phones not transmit the Caller ID.
 
How it works:
  • User initiates a call to Access Number.
  • System authorizes the user based on ANI/DID.
  • System then initiates the call to originating number using voip gateway.
  • System asks for destination number and then connects both legs.
 
 
SMS Callback
Capanicus SMS callback module allows service provider to let their client ability to initiate call by sending SMS either directly to service provider GSM Modem or SMS provider GSM gateways.
 
How it works:
  • The user sends an SMS containing a destination number. The SMS may be delivered either directly to a GSM device connected to the callback server, or to the SMS provider gateway of the User. In the latter case, the SMS provider notifies the callback server of the new incoming SMS via an API.
  • The user may be authenticated either by his/her cell phone number or by credentials contained in the SMS.
  • After the destination party has answered, the system rings the SMS callback user at either a pre-defined phone number or the one specified by the user.
